Doreen Schwanck
Doreen Schwanck, who works as an interior and set designer in Berlin and Cape Town, produces her own mirrors and is also renovating several of her own property projects, is the woman we chose for the comeback for APRIL FIRST MUSE series.
Why did we choose Doreen for this special occassion? Because she not only impresses us with her thousands of professional projects, but above all she is always in a good mood. Her style? Casual, sporty and feminine - her trademarks include her love of clogs and her beautiful long brown hair.
In terms of fashion, she likes it casual, not at least because she is always on the run and has a son. She prefers to wear matching sets, you rarely see her without jeans and, according to Doreen, you can never go wrong with a classic men's shirt.

1. Describe yourself in 3 words to people who don’t know you?
Friendly, funny, loyal.
2. What is it that people are most surprised to know about you?
That I played Manuel Neuer in an TV advert.
3. Any hidden talents besides being a mother, model and set designer?
I'm good at helping people with their business. I always have a vision of what they can do and what they are capable of.
4. The best advice you've ever been given?
Stop stressing and rushing.
5. What does the perfect summer day look like for you?
Yoga in the morning with the rising sun, a long breakfast, a day at the beach and dinner with friends.
6. Your everyday look?
Blue jeans, a white shirt or a matching set of shirt and trousers.
7. What surprised you the most during our APRIL FIRST shoot?
How I felt in the dresses and looks - I never thought I would feel so comfortable in them.

8. The moment in your career that changed your life?
When I gave birth to my son, my whole world changed, and so did my attitude to work.
9. What does summer taste like to you?
Summer tastes like a sip of coffee at sunrise on the beach.
10. What was the last thing you bought?
Tiles, windows and interiors are currently my personal luxury.
